Are you passionate about IT governance, software compliance, and asset management?
As an IT Software Asset Management Officer, you will contribute to the management, optimization, and compliance of the organization's software assets. You will work closely with procurement, contract management, and IT teams to ensure software usage aligns with licensing agreements, while supporting reporting, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Build side:
Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of Software Asset Management (SAM) processes and governance.
Support the creation and maintenance of procedures, guidelines, and awareness documentation.
Analyze software contracts and licensing agreements to extract key information and compliance requirements.
Participate in software inventories and compliance assessments.
Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and performance indicators.
Contribute to the optimization of software usage and licensing models.
Collaborate with international teams on software asset management initiatives.
Run side:
Monitor software usage and licensing compliance across the organization.
Collect and consolidate software inventory information and usage evidence.
Gather and maintain software purchasing, contract, and maintenance records.
Act as a point of contact for software procurement-related activities.
Follow up on remediation and optimization action plans, including software transfers, removals, and license adjustments.
Maintain software asset repositories, documentation, and compliance records.
Produce operational reports, management summaries, and compliance indicators.
Escalate risks, compliance gaps, and optimization opportunities when necessary.
Minimum 3 years of experience in IT environments.
Experience in Software Asset Management, IT Asset Management, Contract Management, or related activities.
Experience working in international and multicultural environments.
Knowledge of software licensing models and compliance principles.
Experience collaborating with remote teams and multiple stakeholders.
ITIL certification is considered a plus.
