IT Project Manager – Cloud & Hosting Transformation
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive IT Project Manager to lead the global implementation of a new Microsoft-based hosting platform. This role is central to a large‑scale digital transformation program aimed at modernizing our core technology stack.
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end‑to‑end delivery of the hosting platform, collaborating with cross‑functional teams across IT Infrastructure, Development, Data, and Security. Your focus will be on ensuring the project is executed on time, within budget, and in full alignment with our established program management standards.
- Project Planning & Strategy: Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan, including detailed timelines, budget forecasting, milestone definition, resource allocation, and proactive risk assessments.
- End‑to‑End Execution: Drive the project lifecycle from initial kick‑off through detailed solution design, implementation, and post‑go‑live support.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders across IT and various business units, ensuring alignment and managing escalations through established governance structures.
- Governance & Documentation: Ensure all project documentation is managed according to corporate Program Management rules.
- Performance Monitoring: Facilitate regular status meetings, provide transparent reporting to leadership, and monitor project performance metrics to ensure successful delivery.
Profile Requirements
- Experience: Proven track record in managing complex IT projects within a global environment.
- Technical Context: Strong familiarity with the Microsoft TechStack. Experience in Cloud, Hosting, and Infrastructure is highly desirable.
- Methodology: Expert knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or PMP/PRINCE2) and experience maintaining high standards of project documentation.
- Communication: Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business leadership.
- Leadership: Ability to lead cross‑functional teams (Infrastructure, Security, Data) without direct hierarchical authority.
Note: This position is in a hybrid model, 2x per week in the office, in Lisbon.
