Vodafone is seeking an experienced IP Network Operations Engineer to join its Network Operations team. The role focuses on ensuring the availability, performance, security, and continuous improvement of Vodafone's IP network infrastructure supporting critical services.

You will operate and support the IP network, troubleshoot incidents, perform changes, and drive service improvements while maintaining documentation and collaborating across global teams.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Knowledge of IP networking technologies including TCP/IP, Routing & Switching, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, QoS, and IPv4/IPv6.
• Hands-on experience configuring Cisco environments (Cisco ACI, ASA, ISE, among others).
• Experience managing and supporting network security solutions, including Fortinet and Check Point firewalls.
• Diagnose and resolve complex network issues across LAN, WAN, Data Centre, and IP transport environments.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment and manage priorities under pressure.
• Automation & Scripting Tools developing experience is a plus.
• English and Portuguese language (spoken and written).

• Assess risks and operational impact of network changes.
• Recommend improvements to network performance, resilience, and operational processes.
• Escalate critical service risks and issues when required.
