Capgemini Engineering in Caparica, Portugal, is seeking an IP Network & Security Engineer to maintain and optimize corporate and data centre networks.

You will lead network solution provisioning, manage vendor relationships, document designs, and ensure robust monitoring and security across the infrastructure. The role requires hands-on experience with Juniper and Cisco platforms and a strong TCP/IP background.

Qualificações

• Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science or similar.
• 3-5 years of experience in similar functions.
• Solid knowledge of network implementation and operations.
• Experience with Juniper (JNCIP/JNCIE) and Cisco (CCNP/CCIE).
• Knowledge of Data Centre Infrastructure, MPLS VPN design and implementation.

Responsabilidades

• Lead maintenance of network solutions for corporate and Data Centre networks.
• Manage vendor relationships for operational effectiveness.
• Handle provisioning and maintenance to ensure network solutions and controls.
• Maintain infrastructure with standardized processes and automated tools.
• Produce and maintain Low Level Design documentation.
• Define Network Lab and Test Plan development and instrumentation requirements.
• Own and maintain network monitoring platform.
• Troubleshoot effectively and support incident verification and escalation as needed.
• Promote continuous team improvement and growth; meet project commitments.
