HN Services Portugal is seeking an experienced Integration Engineer to translate business and technical requirements into robust integration solutions within a modern enterprise landscape.

The role covers designing architectures (REST, ESB, microservices), managing end-to-end interface delivery, and ensuring security, GDPR compliance, and governance across platforms such as Informatica, Mulesoft, and Talend.

Qualificações

• 3–7 years of experience in integration engineering.
• Expertise with integration platforms (Informatica, Mulesoft, Talend, or equivalent).
• Experience with REST, SOAP, GraphQL, EDI, JSON, XML, Avro.
• Experience with API management platforms and lifecycle policies.
• Experience with data privacy (GDPR) and security patterns.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze business and technical requirements to design integration solutions.
• Design integration architectures using REST APIs, ESB, event-driven, microservices, and ETL/ELT.
• Contribute to Target Operating Model and standards for integration.
• Ensure designs comply with security, GDPR, and governance standards.
• Develop, configure, and maintain integration workflows and data transformations on platforms such as Informatica, Mulesoft, Talend.
• Produce detailed technical documentation (HLD/LLD).
• Manage interface delivery end-to-end from requirements to deployment and stabilization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents; monitor flows and APIs with alerts and runbooks.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and vendors; promote best practices and reusable components.

• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into robust integration solutions.
• Design integration architectures using modern patterns (REST APIs, ESB, event-driven, microservices, ETL/ELT).
• Contribute to the definition and evolution of the integration Target Operating Model (TOM) and standards.
• Ensure all designs comply with security, data privacy (GDPR), and architecture governance standards.

Development & Delivery

• Develop, configure, and maintain integration workflows, APIs, and data transformation processes on platforms such as Informatica, Mulesoft, Talend, or equivalent.
• Produce clear and complete technical documentation (HLD, LLD, interface specifications, data mapping).
• Manage interface delivery end-to-end: from requirements to deployment, testing, and stabilization.

Operations & Support

• The Service will troubleshoot and resolve integration incidents, ensuring reliability and performance of the integration landscape.
• Monitoring the integration flows and APIs, manage alerts, dead-letter queues, and incident runbooks.

Stakeholder Management

• Service with product owners, business analysts, architects, and external vendors.
• Contribute to resolving interface ownership conflicts and facilitating alignment between teams.
• Provide governance forums, steering committees, and project reviews.

Identify and promote best practices, reusable components, and integration patterns.

Contribution to the improvement of integration processes, tooling, and documentation standards.

Technical Expertise

• 3–7 years of Expertise in integration engineering
• Expertise with integration platforms: Informatica, Mulesoft, Talend, or equivalent ESB/iPaaS tools.
• Expertise of integration protocols and standards: REST, SOAP, GraphQL, EDI, JSON, XML, Avro.
• Expertise with API management platforms (design, versioning, security policies, lifecycle management).
• Expertise with messaging and event streaming platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, or equivalent).
• Expertise of ETL/ELT processes and data transformation patterns.
• Expertise of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices applied to integration (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Expertise of security patterns: OAuth2, OIDC, mTLS, secrets management, encryption.
• Expertise in producing functional requirements documents, interface specifications, and data mapping.
• Expertise with GDPR, data minimization, and compliance requirements in a regulated environment.
• Expertise with cloud integration (Azure, AWS, GCP) and hybrid integration architectures.
• Expertise with Salesforce, SAP, Coupa, Workday or similar enterprise application integrations.
• Expertise with TOGAF, ArchiMate, or other enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Expertise with contract-first API design (OpenAPI/Swagger specification).
