Allianz Services is seeking an experienced IS Solution Architect – Network Security to design, govern, and evolve enterprise network security architectures across complex environments. The role focuses on perimeter protection, segmentation, secure remote access, and Zero Trust Network Access with strong governance and KPI tracking.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in network security, hands-on experience with NGFW platforms, DLP, and NDR, and English fluency.

Qualificações

• Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in Network Security Architecture or Engineering in enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with perimeter defence, microsegmentation, DMZ, secure remote access, and traffic inspection
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) principles
• Experience with NGFW platforms and DLP/NDR solutions
• Knowledge of multi-cloud/hybrid security and cloud security groups
• Familiarity with standards like ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, NIST CSF and governance boards
• Excellent English skills
• Interest in IT and GenAI is a plus

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced IS Solution Architect – Network Security to drive the design, governance, and evolution of enterprise network security architectures. The role combines deep technical expertise in network defense with strong security governance capabilities, focusing on perimeter protection, network segmentation, secure remote access, and Zero Trust Network Access across complex, multi-geography environments.

What You Do

• Design and maintain enterprise network security architectures: perimeter defense, network segmentation (micro segmentation, VLAN/VXLAN, DMZ design), secure remote access, and traffic inspection strategies aligned with Zero Trust principles.
• Provide architectural guidance on enterprise-grade firewall platforms (Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco, Juniper SRX), IDS/IPS, network-based DLP, and NDR solutions — including policy design, lifecycle management, and secure network design for multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
• Contribute to security governance processes: drafting and maintaining network security policies, standards, and technical baselines; supporting risk acceptance, exception management, and formal sign-off workflows.
• Define and track KPIs/KRIs for network security posture (firewall rule compliance, segmentation coverage, IDS/IPS detection rates) and present governance reporting to security committees and senior leadership.
• Act as network security advisor to IT, Architecture, Risk, and Business teams; participate in architecture review boards ensuring proposed network changes align with enterprise security standards before approval.

What You Bring

• Higher education degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in Network Security Architecture or Network Security Engineering in enterprise environments.
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise network security architectures: perimeter defence, microsegmentation, DMZ design, secure remote access, and traffic inspection.
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) principles: software‑defined perimeter, identity‑aware proxies, continuous network verification.
• Experience with enterprise‑grade firewalls and NGFW platforms (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Juniper SRX); IDS/IPS, network‑based DLP, and NDR solutions (Darktrace, ExtraHop, Cisco Stealthwatch, Vectra).
• Knowledge of secure network design for multi‑cloud/hybrid environments: cloud‑native security groups, VPC/VNET architectures, cloud‑based firewalling (AWS Network Firewall, Azure Firewall, GCP Cloud Armor).
• Familiarity with DORA, NIS2, ISO 27001, PCI‑DSS, NIST CSF and experience with security architecture governance and architecture review boards.
• Excellent English skills (written and spoken).
