Job summary

FreshStart UAE is looking for an Information Security Analyst to join our team in Funchal. You will safeguard data and information systems, perform risk assessments, and enforce security policies while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a strong technical background in information security, problem-solving skills, and effective communication to address incidents and drive security improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in information security or related role.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, etc.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001/27002, NIST, CIS Controls.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or Qualys.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
• Monitor and analyze network traffic for potential security breaches.
• Implement and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Identify vulnerabilities in systems and recommend solutions.
• Respond to security incidents and provide necessary support for resolution.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging threats.
