We are seeking a skilled Information Security Analyst to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As an Information Security Analyst you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our company's information and data systems. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices as well as the ability to stay up-to-date with emerging threats and vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
• Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect our systems and data.
• Monitor network activity for potential security breaches and respond promptly to any incidents.
• Stay current on industry trends, new technologies, and emerging threats in order to recommend appropriate security measures.
• Investigate any security issues or incidents that arise and provide recommendations for resolution.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure all systems are properly configured with necessary security measures.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on cybersecurity best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in information security or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles including risk assessment, threat management, incident response, etc.
• Familiarity with various operating systems and network infrastructure components.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISM are preferred but not required.
