FedEx Express Portugal is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join GTS Europe Planning & Engineering. You will analyze, redesign, and optimize end-to-end processes in partnership with Operations, Technology, Regulatory, Compliance, and Business teams to drive productivity and operational excellence.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or MSc in Industrial/Process Engineering or related field, 3+ years in process engineering or continuous improvement, and strong analytical and stakeholder engagement

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or MSc in Industrial/Process Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 3+ years in Process Engineering or Transformation programs, with measurable improvements.
• Experience mapping, analyzing, redesigning end-to-end processes in regulated environments.

Responsabilidades

• Recommend, lead and execute business analysis plans for new and existing projects.
• Produce complex BPM flows and develop SOPs and job aids.
• Identify opportunities for innovations, automations, and increased productivity.
• Own initiatives and drive them to successful conclusion.
• Evaluate business requests against the company strategy.
• Lead European projects from start to finish, including business case development and implementation.

What you will be doing: Recommend, lead and execute business analysis plans for new and existing projects Produce complex business process model flows (BPM flows) and develop SOP’s/ job aids Recognize and recommend opportunities for innovations, automations, and increased productivity Take ownership of initiatives and work independently to successful conclusion Evaluate business requests and needs against the strategy Lead any European project from start to finish (business case development, project plan, execution, implementation, hyper care support Maintain close partnerships with collaborating departments e.g. IT, Operations, Finance and Regulatory. Engage with all levels of business stakeholders to identify business needs

What do you bring with you: Bachelor's/ MSc Degree in Industrial/ Process Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related discipline 3+ years of experience in Process Engineering, Business Process Management, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, Business Analysis, or Transformation Programs Proven experience mapping, analyzing, redesigning, and optimizing end-to-end business processes. Demonstrated success delivering measurable improvements in productivity, efficiency, cycle times, quality, and customer outcomes Experience working within regulated environments where process compliance, governance, and risk management are critical Strong analytical skills, stakeholder engagement capabilities, process mapping expertise, and familiarity with continuous improvement frameworks such as Lean, Six Sigma, or BPM methodologies will be highly valued Proficient use of Microsoft 365 suite (Generic, One Note, MS Lists, Visio, Power BI, Copilot) Oracle Database - tool for SQL queries is a plus Willingness to travel frequently (30% or more) to various FedEx locations in Europe Ability to lead internal cross-functional teams to fast-cycle strategic developments Previous exposure to Customs Clearance is an advantage
