Job summary

Qatar Wellness Network in Lisbon is seeking an experienced Industrial Alpinist for a contract role. You will conduct risk assessments, use ropes and equipment to access heights, inspect gear, and perform painting, cleaning, and installations at height. Strong safety knowledge, IRATA/SPRAT certification, and teamwork are essential. The position requires flexibility to work at multiple Lisbon sites and good communication.

Salary is 1300 USD per month, negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial alpinism or related field.
• Certification in industrial alpinism techniques (IRATA or SPRAT).
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and procedures for working at heights.
• Physically fit with the ability to climb and work at heights for extended periods.
• Familiarity with a range of specialized equipment used in industrial alpinism.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Conducting risk assessments and implementing safety measures before starting work.
• Using ropes harnesses and other equipment to access heights and perform tasks.
• Inspecting and maintaining equipment regularly to ensure safety and compliance.
• Performing tasks such as painting cleaning repairs and installations at height.
• Following specific instructions and procedures for each job site.
• Communicating effectively with team members on the ground using radios or hand signals.
• Reporting any issues or hazards immediately to the supervisor.
