Work corp is seeking an Industrial Alpinist to work in Braga, Portugal. The role involves working at height on industrial and construction projects, performing safety inspections, maintenance, and installations with specialized equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Industrial Alpinist

As an Industrial Alpinist, you will be responsible for working at height on various industrial and construction projects in the city of Braga. Your main tasks will include conducting safety inspections, performing maintenance and repairs, and carrying out installations using specialized equipment and techniques.

No prior experience is required for this role as comprehensive training will be provided. However, we are looking for candidates who are physically fit and have a strong sense of balance and coordination. You must also have a valid work permit or be eligible for a free visa to work in Braga.

Your responsibilities as an Industrial Alpinist will include:

• Conducting safety inspections and risk assessments before starting work
• Using specialized equipment such as ropes, harnesses, and pulleys to access difficult-to-reach areas
• Performing maintenance tasks such as painting, cleaning, and repairing structures at height
• Installing various structures such as scaffolding, rigging systems, and signage
• Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and protocols at all times
• Communicating effectively with your team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations
• Maintaining accurate records of work completed and reporting any issues or concerns to your supervisor

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• Physically fit with excellent balance and coordination skills
• Ability to work comfortably at height for extended periods of time
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and carry out tasks independently or as part of a team
• Good communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)

This is a contract job with a salary of 1200$ per month. In addition to your salary, you will also receive free visa sponsorship and a ticket to travel to Braga.
