This role focuses on teaching IB Physics and delivering IGCSE Coordinated Science (Double Award) while contributing to the launch and development of the IB Diploma Programme.

Qualificações

• Teach IB Physics
• Deliver IGCSE Coordinated Science (Double Award)
• Contribute to the development of high-quality IB course outlines and schemes of work
• Support the integration of Approaches to Learning (ATL) and inquiry-based teaching
• Contribute to the wider life of the school, including interdisciplinary projects

Responsabilidades

• Plan and deliver engaging, rigorous lessons aligned with IB and Cambridge curricula
• Prepare students effectively for external assessments (IB exams and IGCSEs)
• Develop and refine IB course outlines, ensuring alignment with subject guides and assessment criteria
• Integrate practical, experimental work and promote scientific inquiry
• Track and support student progress through data-informed teaching
• Contribute to cross-curricular collaboration, particularly within the sciences
• Participate in pastoral care and tutor responsibilities
• Engage actively with professional development, including IB workshops
