MOV.AI is seeking a Robotics QA Engineer to validate its autonomous robotics platform, focusing on ROS-based automated testing, Gazebo simulations, and robust QA processes. This hands-on role requires strong test automation skills and collaboration with Robotics, Backend, Frontend, and DevOps teams.

The position offers a hybrid work model in Portugal with an emphasis on delivering reliable software for AMRs in complex environments.

Qualificações

• Experience in robotics software testing or QA engineering.
• Knowledge of ROS (Robot Operating System) and robotics simulation tools such as Gazebo.
• Experience with Python for test automation.
• Familiarity with Jira and structured test management.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Passion for robotics, automation, and delivering reliable software in complex environments.

Responsabilidades

• Validate robotics software through comprehensive testing and quality assurance processes.
• Perform simulation-based testing using Gazebo and robotics environments.
• Develop and maintain ROS-based automated test solutions.
• Manage test plans, traceability, and quality documentation using Jira.
• Investigate failures, perform root cause analysis, and help drive continuous improvements.
• Collaborate closely with Robotics, Backend, Frontend, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality software releases.
• Support structured release validation and quality processes throughout the development lifecycle.
