Job summary

Zumub in Portugal (Cacém – Sintra) is seeking an Inventory Controller to efficiently manage inbound and outbound goods, ensuring stock accuracy and optimal turnover. You will develop strategies to reduce stockouts, coordinate product creation, orders, and invoice validation, and monitor inventory management systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in similar roles (Preferred).
• Analytical skills for interpreting stock data and strong Excel proficiency.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in service level control.
• Experience in negotiating with suppliers.
• Fluency in English (mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Manage movement of incoming and outgoing goods and ensure stock accuracy.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory.
• Coordinate administrative activities: product creation, order placement and invoice validation.
• Ensure order lifecycle control from creation to arrival at the warehouse.
• Monitor and maintain inventory management systems.
• Control service levels and inventory turnover.
• Ensure optimized purchasing to avoid stockouts and reduce turnover days.
• Collaborate with internal teams to meet operational requirements.
