Vodafone is seeking a Detection and Response Solution Engineer to architect and deliver network flow/traffic-based detection capabilities within the VOLT acceleration plan. You will provide architecture and design expertise to monitor, detect, investigate and respond to cyber incidents across Vodafone's global network.

The role requires strong network knowledge, innovative thinking, and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Competenze

• Degree in a relevant subject is required.
• 5+ years experience with Netflow and Full Packet Capture technologies.
• 5+ years experience reviewing network flow data to identify traffic trends.
• Fluency in English and ability to communicate technical information to stakeholders.

Mansioni

• Own the design and delivery of network flow/traffic onboarding to Centralised Security Analytics toolsets.
• Review strategy and blueprint for network flow/traffic.
• Produce high-level and low-level designs for security analytic toolsets and ingestion patterns.
• Implement configuration and firewall rule requirements for inter-component communications.
• Tune to mitigate false positives in security alarms/events during initial deployments.
• Collaborate with BAU operational teams for platform handover, health monitoring and onboarding of authentication systems.
• Coordinate with Logging and Monitoring teams to ensure alarms/events parse to Vodafone SIEM solutions.
• Engage with vendors and third parties for product/platform enhancements.
