powertalent is seeking a Mid Machine Learning Engineer to bring ML models into production. You will work with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to deploy, monitor and manage models in real-world environments.

In this hands‑on role, you’ll own solutions from scratch and help shape our MLOps practice. This position offers a hybrid work model with two days in Lisbon and three days remote.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of experience in machine learning.
• Strong SQL knowledge.
• Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD, e.g. GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Fundamentals of MLOps: versioning, code reviews, and pipelines.
• Familiar with ML frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Experience deploying models with Docker and/or Kubernetes.
• Building APIs with FastAPI or Flask.
• Good testing practices (pytest or unittest).
• English at B2 level or higher.

Responsabilidades

• Deploy and manage ML models in production.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for ML workloads.
• Monitor model performance and key metrics.
• Implement monitoring and alerting solutions.
• Write clean, testable Python code.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Engineers.
• Improve model performance and production response times.
• Automate model retraining and deployment processes.
• Contribute to developing MLOps practices and infra.
