JobCloud in Porto, Portugal, seeks a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to lead production ML systems and scalable infrastructure. You will mentor teams, drive best practices, and collaborate across Data Science, Engineering, and Operations to deliver high-impact ML services.

The role emphasizes production-grade ML deployment, low-latency serving, and continuous improvement of tools and methodologies across the organization.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in ML Engineering, MLOps, or closely related roles.
• Proven experience deploying and maintaining ML models in production at scale.
• Strong Python skills with data/ML ecosystems.
• Familiarity with LLMs, RAG, and AI paradigms.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms for ML systems.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and production-ready services.
• Ability to lead technical projects and architectural decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with Data Science to translate experimental models into scalable, production-grade ML systems.
• Design high-performance, low-latency model-serving architectures and infrastructure.
• Define and enforce best practices for ML productionization (coding standards, testing, deployment).
• Lead cross-functional collaboration between Data Science, Engineering, and Operations as the primary technical interface.
• Define and implement model performance monitoring (drift, data quality, inference metrics) for reliability.
• Drive innovation by evaluating new tools/frameworks and promoting their adoption.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, system designs, and runbooks.
