Hitachi Solutions Portugal is seeking a Lead Data Consultant to join the Data, Analytics & AI practice. You will provide bespoke data engineering and analytics solutions, guiding clients on best practices and delivering on time and budget.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentoring, and collaboration across Europe. Responsibilities include design of data platforms, BI and AI-enabled solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, and Power BI, plus mentoring junior colleagues and contributing

Qualificações

• 10+ years of experience designing and delivering cloud-based Data Engineering, Analytics, and AI solutions.
• Extensive client-facing consulting experience and track record leading teams or projects.
• Hands-on programming in Python and SQL.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory and data platform solutions like Microsoft Fabric and Databricks.
• Expertise in data visualization and analytics using Power BI, QlikView or Tableau.
• Strong data modelling and transformation, ETL/ELT design and data warehousing.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and developing Data & Analytics teams.

Responsabilidades

• Provide expert advisory services on analytics and data engineering best practices, delivering scalable solutions.
• Lead teams and projects from requirements gathering to design and implementation.
• Define architectures that meet current and future business needs.
• Design and develop Data Platform, BI and Analytics solutions using cloud technologies.
• Lead data engineering initiatives on Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks to deliver data products.
• Develop dashboards and reports in Power BI for clear client insights.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the Portugal team's growth.
• Collaborate with the broader European team to strengthen capabilities.
