Capgemini Engineering in Portugal is seeking an accomplished Data Engineer to validate target data architecture, reduce complexity and drive scalable, industrialisable solutions. You will lead delivery activities, optimize data warehouses and pipelines, and coordinate with the Data Platform team to ensure practical integration.

The role requires hands-on expertise with AWS lakehouse architectures, Iceberg-based platforms, and cloud migrations, plus strong communication skills to coach

Qualificações

• Extensive experience in data engineering on AWS cloud.
• Proven expertise in lakehouse architecture with Iceberg.
• Strong data pipeline and data warehouse experience.
• Ability to translate architecture decisions into work packages.
• Experience supporting migration-related implementations.

Responsabilidades

• Validate target data architecture and oversee delivery activities.
• Lead implementation backlog and coordinate engineering tasks.
• Deliver hands-on completion and optimization of data pipelines and warehouses.
• Coordinate with Data Platform team for integration and adoption.
• Coach stakeholders and provide knowledge transfer materials.
