Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Portugal is seeking a highly skilled Packet Core CMG Integration Engineer to support the deployment, integration, testing, migration, and software lifecycle management of Nokia Packet Core solutions, with a primary focus on Cloud Mobility Gateway environments.

You will collaborate with project teams, TPMs, Care teams, and cross-site colleagues to ensure delivery aligns with approved designs and Nokia best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Telecom Core Network Integration.
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Nokia Packet Core solutions, particularly CMG.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Deploy and integrate Packet Core solutions per approved designs and LLDs.
• Execute System Integration and Functional ATP procedures and report results.
• Troubleshoot deployment, integration, and ATP issues with project teams and care groups.
• Manage migrations, upgrades, and handover activities with customers.
• Provide post-deployment stabilization and 4-Eye support when required.
• Capture knowledge and contribute to KM tools and JIRA workflows.
