Job summary

Next Engineering is hiring an AI Quality Assurance Engineer in Porto with a focus on backend/middleware testing, integration testing, and AI testing tools. Hybrid work in Porto and a base salary in the range of 1,400–1,700 euros plus food allowance and flex benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years testing backend or middleware applications.
• Experience with Oracle and MySQL database validation.
• Hands-on experience with AI testing tools and AI agents.
• Design, maintain, and execute integration test plans and test cases across heterogeneous systems; track and improve automation coverage with metrics.
• Linux (Red Hat VMs) with shell scripting, log analysis, and root cause analysis.
• Defect management: document, track, regression testing, and reporting.
• Collaboration with Development and DevOps; banking/brokerage domain experience preferred.
• French language is desirable.
