A Yazaki Corporation procura um(a) HV Engineer para se juntar à equipa da planta de Ovar, em Aveiro, Portugal. O objetivo é desenvolver soluções de alta tensão para sistemas automotivos, com foco em conformidade com padrões IATF/ISO/TISAX e integração com fornecedores.

O candidato ideal possui formação em engenharia, domínio de inglês e capacidades de gestão de múltiplos projetos, comunicação eficaz e experiência com ferramentas CAD 3D (CATIA/SolidWorks/CREO).

• Formação académica em Engenharia (licenciatura/profissional).
• Proficiência em inglês.
• Excelentes habilidades de comunicação e interpessoais.

Porto Technical Centre is the largest Yazaki global engineering services provider, that offers high-tech product development capabilities, translating customer specific needs into efficient production concepts, while consolidating and developing EDS expertise across plants on the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. We are currently seeking for high potential candidates to join us through High Voltage team, reporting directly to the area supervisor (PTC).

Main tasks & responsibilities

• Product Development
  Implementation of product development strategies and applications ;
  Comprehension and follow-up of technical applicable and technology development ;
  Interaction with internal and external customers on technical matters ;
  Provision of technical expertise (such DFMEA, DfM/DfE, VA/VE, etc).
  Participates and supports production process activities for YAZAKI and Customer Plants
• Team management
  Promotion of improvement activities in the services provided by the department ;
  Enabling information cascading among department members ;
• Business Management
  Require plans and analysis of the overall development of projects.
  Support on project/business acquisition.
  Control and follow-up the due dates established with the respective customers.
• Quality Management
  Reports all claims that may be received to her/his supervisor and to the Quality Department ;
  Implements and support corrective and preventive actions and measures their effectiveness ;
  Keeps customer interaction about the on-going claim status and/or resolution ;

Requirements

• Academic background in Engineering (University degree : Mechanical, Electromechanical, Electrical, Material, or other similar) ;
• Proficiency in English (any other language skill will be strongly valuated) ;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with Yazaki customers and internal stakeholders ;
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively ;
• Knowledge of main automotive standards (IATF/ISO/TISAX) ;
• Resourcefulness into working within 3D CAD Tools (such as CATIA V5/V6, Solidworks, CREO, or others) ;
