Qualificações

The Heritage Conservation Architect will be responsible for preserving and protecting historical structures and sites in the city of Faro. This role requires extensive knowledge and experience in architectural conservation as well as a passion for preserving cultural heritage. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of building materials techniques and restoration methods as well as an understanding of local building codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of historical structures to determine preservation needs
• Develop comprehensive conservation plans that include budget estimates timelines and resource allocation
• Coordinate with engineers contractors and other professionals to ensure preservation projects are completed successfully
• Utilize traditional building methods and materials whenever possible to maintain the authenticity of historical structures
• Stay up-to-date on new developments and techniques in architectural conservation
• Collaborate with local organizations and stakeholders to promote historical preservation efforts in the community

Requirements

Preference

While not required preference will be given to candidates who have experience working with historic structures in Faro or other locations in Portugal

Salary

This position offers a competitive salary of 900$ per month
