EURAXESS Ireland seeks a Research Fellow for a project on extracellular vesicles as gut-brain shuttles. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology or related fields and skills in molecular biology. The role involves conducting experiments, data analysis, and preparing reports.

This full-time temporary position begins on 8 Jan 2026, with an application deadline of 6 Dec 2026. Strong candidates will have experience in exosome isolation and animal cell culture.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in relevant fields.
• Knowledge in Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Cellular and Molecular Biology.

Responsabilidades

• Isolation of extracellular vesicles from biological samples.
• Maintenance and optimization of animal cell cultures.
• Development of in vitro intestinal dysbiosis models.

Conhecimentos

Isolation and characterization of extracellular vesicles/exosomes

Animal cell culture

Molecular biology techniques

Knowledge of RT-qPCR, RNA extraction, quantification, Western blot, ELISA

Knowledge of aseptic techniques

Formação académica

Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Biology, Biochemistry
