Boge Rubber & Plastics invites a Cost Controlling specialist to drive cost management across manufacturing sites in Setúbal and beyond. You will monitor material costs, maintain standard costing, and support BOM/costing accuracy in SAP CO-PC, collaborating with R&D and Procurement.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in cost controlling within manufacturing, with SAP CO-PC and Excel proficiency; Big Four experience is valued.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Controlling, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years of cost controlling experience, manufacturing/auto preferred.
• Big Four experience is a strong asset.
• Strong SAP CO-PC knowledge: standard costing, BOM costing, variance analysis.
• Understanding of material cost structures and margins.
• Advanced Excel with strong analytical skills; Power BI a plus.
• Ability to drive cross-functional standardization across regions.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and analyze material costs and margins across regions and plants.
• Define and harmonize standard costing, BOM accuracy, and routing inputs.
• Support annual cost roll-up in SAP CO-PC and validate plant inputs.
• Collaborate with R&D and Procurement on cost implications of design changes.
• Provide material cost input for RFQs, pricing reviews, profitability analyses.
• Run monthly material and inventory closing activities.
• Coordinate with SAP Key Users and IT to ensure data integrity and reporting.
• Analyze actual vs. standard variances; identify root causes and actions.
• Support cross-functional initiatives for cost transparency and reporting tools.
• Maintain and improve global reporting standards and documentation.

Your Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze material costs and product margins across all regions and manufacturing sites.
• Define, maintain, and harmonize the standard costing methodology, including material master data, BOM accuracy, and routing inputs.
• Support the annual cost roll-up process in SAP CO-PC and coordinate plant input validations.
• Collaborate with R&D and Procurement on material and design changes, assessing cost impact.
• Provide material cost input for RFQs, pricing reviews, and profitability assessments.
• Run monthly material & inventory closing activities
• Coordinate with SAP Key Users and IT to ensure data integrity and proper reporting structures.
• Analyze actual vs. standard variances, identify root causes, and propose corrective actions.
• Support cross-functional initiatives to improve material cost transparency and reporting tools.
• Maintain and improve global reporting standards, and documentation.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Controlling, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in cost controlling, preferably in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
• Prior experience in a Big Four firm is considered a strong asset.
• Knowledge of SAP CO-PC, with practical experience in standard costing, BOM costing, and variance analysis.
• Understanding of material cost structures, margin calculation and production processes.
• Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills;
• experience with SAP BW or Power BI is a plus.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and drive process standardization across regions.
