Continental is seeking an experienced SAP CO IT Consultant to support the Controlling workstream across S/4HANA template design and rollout in a dynamic, international environment.

You will enable real-time FI-CO integration, drive CO configuration, testing, data migration, and cross-functional alignment with FI, MM, SD and PP while traveling up to 30%. A strong background in CO/PA and product costing is required.

Qualificações

• 5+ years experience in SAP CO or Finance IT roles
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Controlling (CO) including CO-PA and Product Cost Controlling
• Knowledge of Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and real-time FI-CO integration
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications for Controlling
• ABAP knowledge (reading code and debugging)
• Experience in cross-functional, international project teams
• SAP Controlling certification is a plus
• Strong communication skills and business-fluent English
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 30%

• Support migration of CO master and transactional data and reconcile legacy vs S/4HANA
• Guide business users during rollout and hypercare and identify process improvements

Job Description

As SAP CO IT Consultant, you will have these key responsibilities:

• Support the Controlling (CO) workstream across all phases of our S/4HANA template build and rollout, from design through hypercare;
• Contribute to Fit-to-Template workshops, clarify requirements, and translate business needs into functional specifications;
• Support configuration of core CO areas - Overhead Cost Controlling (Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders), Product Cost Controlling (Product Cost Planning, Cost Object Controlling), and Profitability Analysis (account-based CO-PA / Margin Analysis and costing-based CO-PA) - in line with the S/4HANA standard and the global template design;
• Leverage the S/4HANA Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and real-time FI-CO integration to ensure a single, reconciled source of truth across Finance and Controlling;
• Support Project System (PS) and Investment Management (IM) topics where they interface with Controlling,
• Safeguard the integration and process consistency of CO with FI, MM, SD, and PP, and help clarify cross-functional dependencies;
• Coordinate CO deliverables, timelines, and system readiness within the workstream;
• Prepare and execute CO test scenarios (unit, integration, UAT), and drive defect analysis and resolution;
• Support migration of CO master and transactional data, validate data consistency (e.g. balances, allocations, master-data structures), and assist reconciliation between legacy and S/4HANA systems;
• Guide business and key users during rollout and hypercare and help resolve CO-related incidents. Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to process optimization.

Qualifications

• Academic Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems or comparable field;
• 5+ years experience in SAP CO or Finance-related IT roles, ideally including at least one SAP implementation, rollout, or S/4HANA transformation project;
• In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Controlling (CO), including Profitability Analysis - both account-based CO-PA (Margin Analysis) and costing-based CO-PA - and Product Cost Controlling (Product Cost Planning); working knowledge of the Material Ledger; solid working knowledge of Project System (PS), Investment Management (IM), and the connected modules FI, PP, MM, and SD.
• Sound understanding of the S/4HANA Finance architecture, in particular the Universal Journal (ACDOCA), the merged FI-CO data model, and real-time integration;
• Familiarity with the relevant SAP Fiori applications for Controlling;
• ABAP knowledge (e.g. reading code and debugging);
• Experience working in cross-functional, international project teams;
• An SAP Controlling certification is a plus - e.g. “SAP Certified Associate - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition, Management Accounting” (C_TS4CO) or the public-cloud equivalent “SAP Certified Associate – Implementation Consultant – SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, Management Accounting” (C_S4CCO);
• Strong communication skills and business-fluent English (written and spoken);
• Willingness to international travelling (up to 30%).
