Camino Search is seeking a Group Finance Controller (m/f/d) in Portugal for a PE-backed international technology business. You will own the monthly and year-end close, lead consolidation across entities and partner with senior stakeholders in a fast-growing finance function.

You will strengthen controls, drive process improvements and coordinate external audits while supporting finance transformation initiatives in a multinational setup.

Qualificações

• Strong IFRS and financial reporting knowledge.

Group Finance Controller (m/f/d) | PE-Backed Tech Business | Portugal

For a PE-backed international technology business, we are looking for a Group Finance Controller (m/f/d) based in Portugal.

The business is currently going through an exciting phase of growth and finance transformation, offering the opportunity to play a key role in shaping a scalable, high-performing finance function. This position combines ownership of group reporting and consolidation with the opportunity to improve processes, strengthen controls and work closely with senior stakeholders in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly and year-end group close


• Lead the group consolidation process across multiple entities


• Manage intercompany accounting, reconciliations and financial reporting


• Prepare monthly management reporting and variance analysis


• Drive process improvements and strengthen financial controls


• Coordinate external audits and work closely with senior finance stakeholders


• Support finance transformation initiatives and the continuous improvement of reporting processes

Your Profile

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)


• Experience in group reporting and consolidation within an international, multi-entity environment


• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting


• Experience working with ERP systems


• Hands-on, structured and proactive approach


• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with international stakeholders


• Previous experience in a PE-backed and/or technology business is advantageous
