Job summary

SOMFY seeks a Supplier Quality professional to manage development and mass production quality of components from external suppliers. You will ensure compliant processes, transfer knowledge to industrial teams and drive improvements across projects and production life cycles.

Qualifications

• Higher education degree in Engineering, Quality, Production, Industrialization or related field.
• Experience in supplier quality, project quality, production quality, industrialization or technical purchasing.
• Knowledge of quality tools and problem-solving methodologies.
• Ability to conduct process audits and assess supplier production capacity.
• Experience in an industrial environment and regular interaction with suppliers.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement supplier process development, ensuring compliance with QCDT scenarios with project and purchasing teams.
• Lead the definition and validation of supplier product/process qualification plans.
• Ensure the transfer of supplier projects to mass production with proper information handover.
• Analyze, manage and resolve supplier claims.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance supplier performance over the medium term.
• Conduct process and capacity audits at suppliers.
• Follow up on annual qualifications of supplier production processes.
• Initiate supplier performance escalation with purchasing when required.
• Ensure relevance of incoming inspection instructions across Group sites.
