H.B. Fuller in Porto, Portugal is seeking a Purchasing Agent to support procurement of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods, ensuring continuous supply for production.

You will maintain SAP data accuracy, monitor inventory, and collaborate with planning, sourcing, and warehouse teams to optimize supply chain performance. Fluency in Portuguese, English, and French is required; German is a plus.

Qualificações

• Completed vocational training or degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, procurement, or similar role.
• Proficiency in Portuguese, English and French.
• Experience with SAP in a manufacturing or supply chain environment.
• Additional language skills in German will be an asset.
• Experience with inventory management and demand planning.
• Knowledge of procurement reporting, forecasting, and supplier performance analysis.
• Ability to prioritize workloads, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Procure materials based on production plans and forecasts.
• Monitor and maintain inventory and safety stock levels.
• Ensure timely material availability to support production.
• Maintain accurate material and supplier data in SAP.
• Analyze demand, inventory, and procurement performance data.
• Support supplier negotiations and maintain pricing information.
• Manage supplier claims, complaints, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with sourcing, planning, and warehouse teams on process improvements.
