Tiko seeks a seasoned Controller to lead the consolidation process, ensuring timely, accurate local books and adherence to SOPs and donor rules. You will mentor your team and drive robust financial controls across entities.

You will prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, manage the annual operating budget, oversee global payroll and intercompany reconciliations, and support audits while coordinating with international teams from Portugal in a flexible hybrid setup.

Qualificações

• 6+ years in a controller role.
• Fluent in English (C2) required.
• Based in Portugal with remote collaboration experience.
• Experience managing a team and coordinating with international units.
• Knowledge of accounting standards, internal controls and cost control.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and lead the team to ensure timely consolidation and accurate local books.
• Perform month-, year-, and quarterly closings in line with SOPs and internal controls.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and budgets.
• Oversee global payroll, intercompany reconciliation and salary allocations to donor budgets.
• Ensure compliance with accounting, donor regulations and audits; manage audits and follow-ups.
