As a customer service specialist in this project, your daily responsibilities will include:

1. Communicate friendly and efficiently with customers and provide relevant information
2. Handle property damage issues
3. Manage sensitive issues reported during or after reservations
4. Analyze customer situations and assess property features to determine liability
5. Identify anomalies and patterns to detect fraudulent claims
6. Work proactively and independently to meet targets and goals

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

1. Native or proficient level of German (C2)
2. Proficient level of English (C2), both verbal and written
3. Strong communication skills – excellent phone conversation, attentive listening, and superior writing skills
4. Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
5. Experience estimating contents and automobile/watercraft losses
6. Desire to learn and advance; curious investigator and problem solver
7. Minimum 1 year experience handling property damage, insurance, and healthcare claims, including dispute resolution (mandatory)
8. Or minimum 2 years of Airbnb Claims experience
9. Must hold EU citizenship or valid work permit for Portugal
10. Be a local candidate or willing to relocate to Lisbon, Portugal (on-site work)
