Greenvolt in Lisboa, Portugal, seeks an Accounting General Ledger Analyst to join our international group. This on-site role focuses on accurate financial reporting, IFRS compliance, and efficient GL processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams and auditors.

The ideal candidate has a accounting degree, at least 2 years' experience, fluency in English and Portuguese, and strong data analysis skills using SAP and Excel. Hybrid work includes 2 days teleworking.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Chartered accountant registered at Ordem dos Contabilistas Certificados (preferred).
• Advance knowledge in financial software and systems, SAP and Excel preferred.
• English and Portuguese language skills in speaking and writing.

Responsabilidades

• Day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger, in SAP.
• Preparation and revision of financial statements in IFRS.
• Work with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
• Collaborate with tax experts to optimize global tax strategy.
• Support organizational continuous improvement initiatives.

Accounting General Ledger Analyst at Greenvolt in Lisboa, P11, PT

This Full time on site position offers great opportunities for career growth. As an Accounting General Ledger Analyst of an International Group, you will play an important part in accurate financial reporting, compliance with international accounting standards, and the development of efficient accounting processes. This role requires a solid understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, to support the company's financial goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-day accounting activities, including accounting general ledger, in SAP
• Preparation and revision of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in compliance with international accounting standards (IFRS)
• Working closely with external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process
• and collaborate with tax experts to optimize the company's global tax strategy and compliance
• Support to organizational continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting

Requirements Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Chartered accountant registered at Ordem dos Contabilistas Certificados (preferred)
• Advance knowledge in financial software and systems, spreadsheet and data analysis tools (SAP and Excel preferred)
• English and Portuguese language skills in speaking and writing, further language skills desirable
