EDP is seeking an experienced AI/Automation Engineer to develop and implement AI-driven solutions. You will work hands-on with Generative AI, data pipelines, and automation tools to create scalable, production-ready applications across the business.

The role requires translating business needs into technical solutions, building APIs, and delivering insights to improve operational efficiency. Location-based in Lisbon or Porto with a focus on collaborative, agile teams.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in Data, AI, Automation or Software Engineering.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Experience with low-code tools (UiPath, Power Automate).
• Experience with data platforms (Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Fabric).
• Experience with APIs and data pipelines.
• Solid understanding of analytics and Agile development.
• Interest or experience in Generative AI (LLM integration, prompt engineering).

Responsabilidades

• Design end-to-end automations integrating AI, data and business apps.
• Develop solutions using chatbots and Python to automate processes.
• Create APIs to integrate with applications and improve live automation.
• Design GenAI-powered solutions with LLMs and modern AI frameworks.
• Build data solutions using multiple sources to drive insights and ideas.
• Deliver actionable insights and tools to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with business teams to identify high-impact use cases.
