Job summary

Natixis in Portugal is seeking a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Data Engineer to join the BPCE SI team in a hybrid setup based in Porto or Lisbon. You will design, build and optimize data pipelines, migrate data from SQL Server to GCP, and manage BigQuery-based analytics workflows.

The role focuses on data engineering, ETL/ELT development, and cloud-native data solutions within a multinational IT environment. A hybrid Porto/Lisbon presence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience migrating data and ETL processes from SQL Server to cloud platforms.
• Design, develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines on cloud platforms.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for data warehousing in BigQuery.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform tooling (Airflow/Composer).

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design and execution of the data and ETL migration strategy from SQL Server to GCP.
• Develop and optimize scripts and pipelines for transferring and transforming data into BigQuery.

Job Description

Natixis in Portugal is currently seeking Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Data Engineers to join its BPCE SI (BPCE Solutions Informatiques) team, within the IT (Information Technologies) department, to work in a hybrid model in the Porto or Lisbon office.

Responsibilities Data and Database Migration

• Actively participate in the design and execution of the data and ETL process migration strategy from SQL Server to GCP.
• Develop and optimize scripts and pipelines for efficiently transferring and transforming data into BigQuery.
