Siemens Energy is seeking a Service Engineer for Rotating Equipment in Portugal to support reliability and performance of gas turbine assets. You will analyze data, assess component condition, and participate in outages, technical investigations and continuous improvement.

The role requires a degree in mechanical/industrial engineering, English fluency, and willingness to travel. Remote work within the country is possible, with a collaborative, international team and a focus on safety and

Qualificações

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Energy Technology, Industrial Engineering or similar.
Basic understanding of gas turbines, turbomachinery or power plant technologies.
Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset with strong communication and teamwork.
Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of Oracle, Power BI or low-code languages is a plus.
Fluency in English and willingness to travel and participate in an on-call Engineering 24/7 hotline.

Responsabilidades

Monitor operation of large gas turbine components and provide condition-based assessments.
Collect and evaluate operational data and run risk analyses to improve performance.
Prepare outage plans and checklists to support maintenance and project execution.
Provide technical support during outages on-site and remotely, including troubleshooting and lessons learned.
