Responsibilities

• Collaborate with artists and designers to develop game concepts and mechanics
• Write efficient, clean, and well‑documented code in C++ or other programming languages
• Implement game features such as player movement, AI behavior, UI elements, etc.
• Debug and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during development
• Optimize game performance for different platforms
• Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies related to game development

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in game development using C++ or other programming languages
• Strong understanding of game design principles and mechanics
• Experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine
• Familiarity with 2D/3D graphics software (e.g., Photoshop, Maya)
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred

• Experience in mobile game development
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Lua)
• Passion for gaming and staying up‑to‑date on current industry trends

Location

This position is located in Lisbon but remote work may be considered for exceptional candidates.

Salary

The salary for this position is $1000 per month.
