Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Functional QA Engineer to join our Lisbon team. You will be responsible for defining and executing test strategies for Web, API, and payment systems, ensuring quality across the full delivery cycle. This role combines strong functional testing expertise with the ability to work with modern test tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Define and maintain test strategies and test plans.
• Build and manage test data sets (JDD).
• Prepare and design functional test cases.
• Execute functional test campaigns for Web, API, and payment systems.
• Produce clear and structured test reports.
• Participate in Daily meetings and project checkpoints.
• Work in both V-Model and Agile environments, covering all testing phases: analysis, design, preparation, execution, reporting, and review.
• Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles, Gherkin syntax, and Model-Based Testing (MBT) approaches.

Technical Skills Required:

• Test management tools: ALM, JIRA, Yest.
• API testing tools: SoapUI, Postman, JMeter.
• Payment testing tools & flows: Kanest / Kanest File (preferred).
• Parsing tools, result analyzers, and basic scripting.
• Familiarity with Cucumber and BDD practices.
