Accenture in Lisbon is seeking a Functional Analyst to manage functional solutions for financial interfaces, coordinating with IT and finance teams to ensure timely delivery and robust accounting controls.

The role requires 2+ years in a Functional Analyst/PM capacity, knowledge of banking products and financial information systems, and proficiency in English and Portuguese. Hybrid work in Lisbon with strong emphasis on cross-team collaboration.

Qualificações

• 2 years minimum experience as Functional Analyst/Project Manager.
• Experience with project management frameworks.
• Knowledge of general accounting and/or banking accounting.
• Knowledge of banking products.
• Knowledge of financial information systems.
• MS Excel – intermediate.
• Language: English + Portuguese (B1/B2).

Responsabilidades

• Handle the functional solutions of financial interfaces between business OS and finance systems, collaborating with reporting streams.
• Define operational and accounting schemes and the control framework based on project needs.
• Define data flow structures to feed finance systems and document functional specifications for other teams.
• Coordinate tasks across stakeholders ensuring timely delivery.
• Set up evolution of chart of accounts if needed.
• Contribute to testing strategy to ensure quality of implementation.
• Carry out all accounting and reporting test phases under FIP responsibility.
• Provide aftercare support for reporting users.

Functional Analyst

What would you do:

• Handle the functional solutions of financial interfaces between the operating systems of business and the finance systems, collaborating with the main reporting streams (financial accounting, management accounting, liquidity, and credit risk).
• Define the operational and accounting schemes and the framework of controls based on the first global need expressed by FIP project manager in context of a pre study.
• Define the structure of data flows with the necessary information to feed finance systems - Document the functional specifications of the solution to be set up by other teams such as operating systems IT, Financial IT systems, FIP Engineering for parametrization in the accounting interpreter;
• Coordinate the tasks and actions from the different stakeholders by ensuring the time to market of the delivery;
• Set up evolution of chart of accounts if necessary for the solution adopted;
• Contribute to the testing strategy to ensure the quality of the implementation of the project;
• Carry out all accounting and reporting test phases under direct responsibility of FIP;
• Ensure an aftercare support for reporting users.

Location: Lisbon - Hybrid.

Request to the role:

• Previous experience as Functional Analyst/Project Manager role: 2 years minimum
