Fyld, a Portuguese IT services consultancy, is seeking a Node.js Developer to join our team in Portugal (Setúbal/Almada area). You will design, build and deploy scalable backend services using Node.js, Express.js and RESTful APIs.

We value 3+ years of experience, proficiency with MongoDB/MySQL/PostgreSQL, Git, and testing frameworks, plus familiarity with Docker and Agile practices. Knowledge of security best practices and DevOps awareness is a plus.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Node.Js Developer or in a similar role.
• Proven track record of developing and deploying Node.Js applications.
• Proficiency in Node.Js and its frameworks such as Express.Js.
• Knowledge of database systems such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Ability to design, develop, and implement RESTful APIs using Node.Js.
• Experience with API integration and consumption.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture in Node.Js.
• Proficiency in version control tools such as Git.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Mocha, Chai, or Jest.
• Familiarity with deployment platforms and DevOps practices.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker is a plus.
• Understanding of security best practices for web development and Node.Js applications.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Experience working in Agile development environments is preferred.
