BoldIT.pt is looking for a senior Java engineer based in Portugal to join our delivery team and mentor the developers while owning code from development to deployment. You’ll shape the online technology roadmap, tackle production issues, review AI-generated outputs for quality, and help design scalable microservices architectures using AWS, Kafka, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.

Fluency in English is required. This permanent B2B role offers 50k-60k EUR gross annually plus a 10 days bonus paid

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Java programming language, including latest versions.
• Experience using AI tooling to support code generation, test creation, and documentation.
• Technical investigation and problem solving.
• Ability to review, validate and improve AI-generated outputs to ensure quality, security and maintainability.
• Next.js/React.
• Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of architectural styles: Microservices, REST API.
• AWS.
• Kafka.
• Experience in working with MySQL.
• Fluency in English.

• Conducting technical interviews for positions within your area of expertise

This position requires candidates to be already based in Portugal and have legal authorization to work in Portugal. Remote applications from other countries will not be considered.

Permanent role

Employment Type: B2B

Range: 50k-60k

+ 10 days bonus paid (every 12 months)
