Job summary

iTRTech Group in Porto, Portugal is seeking a Junior Fullstack Developer to join a hybrid team, contributing to web applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS. Work across frontend and backend within an Agile team, with guidance to grow technical skills.

The role requires 1–3 years experience, fluent English, and a hands-on approach to REST APIs, PostgreSQL, and modern tooling. Two days per week in the office are expected.

FULLSTACK DEVELOPER (TYPESCRIPT & REACT) (HYBRID PORTO)

Portuguese company hires for hybrid position.

Location: Porto, Portugal.

Only candidates already based in Portugal will be considered.

Work Model: Hybrid — 2 days per week in the office.

Language Requirements: Fluent English required.

Seniority: Júnior (1-3 years).

Rate Between €2200 - 2500 RV or unipessoal (gross value).

About The Opportunity

We are looking for a Fullstack Developer to contribute to web applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS. You will work across frontend and backend development within a collaborative Agile team, with guidance to develop your technical skills.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• 1–3 years in Fullstack, Frontend, or Backend development. Relevant internships, graduate programmes, and practical experience will be considered.
• Hands-on experience with React and TypeScript, reusable components, and responsive design.
• Experience with Tailwind CSS or similar styling frameworks, and backend development using Node.js and NestJS.
• Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, and error handling; familiarity with schema validation tools such as Zod.
• Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL and ORMs such as Prisma, TypeORM, or MikroORM.
• Understanding of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and JWT.
• Experience with Jest or Vitest, plus basic exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, code reviews, and Agile practices using Scrum or Kanban.

Preferred

Exposure to Playwright, Storybook, or Figma, and certifications in Cloud, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Kubernetes.
