FutureTech in Almada is seeking a dependable cashier to join our retail team. You will process payments, issue receipts, and provide accurate change while delivering excellent customer service. The role also covers stocking shelves, maintaining store cleanliness, and responding to customer inquiries.

You will greet customers, handle cash and card transactions, count cash drawers, and ensure proper procedures are followed. We value reliability and a friendly attitude toward shoppers.

Qualificações

• Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver great customer service.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Proficient in using electronic payment systems such as debit/credit card machines.
• Must have biometric passport for identification purposes.
• Full-time availability.
• Women are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsabilidades

• Greet customers and provide prompt service.
• Process cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Count money in cash drawers at the start and end of shifts to ensure correct amounts.
• Issue receipts, refunds or changes to customers as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Assist with restocking shelves and inventory.
• Answer product, price, availability or store policy inquiries.
• Keep track of sales and report any discrepancies to management.
• Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, security and customer service.
