Stratio is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to design and implement scalable web front‑end and robust server‑side services. You will work across UI/UX, APIs, and architecture to deliver a high‑quality, maintainable software stack.

The role requires strong C#/.NET, frontend skills (HTML/CSS/JS/TS), SQL Server proficiency, and English fluency, with remote/hybrid/Coimbra options in Portugal.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or similar
• Strong knowledge of C# and the .NET ecosystem
• Hands-on web frontend experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Relational databases experience, especially SQL Server
• Knowledge of software design and architecture
• Understanding of various programming languages and SDLC processes
• Able to work under pressure with attention to detail
• Fluent in English

Full Stack Software Engineer (f/m/d)

Your contribution to a #zerodowntimefuture As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you are responsible for both the client‑side user experience and the server‑side information structure of our software ecosystem. This means implementing and maintaining our web front‑end, while also developing, maintaining and scaling up our platform and vehicle information database, ensuring its reliability, scalability, performance and cost‑effectiveness. You will evaluate emerging technologies and provide innovative, cost‑effective solutions across the whole stack. Be ready to be part of a highly innovative team, always searching for new technologies and standards to keep improving our technological stack in an agile environment.

As a FullStack Software Engineer you will

• Participate in the specification and UI/UX Design stages of new features and improvements, supporting our Product Owner and Product Designers;
• Implement and maintain the web front‑end of our software ecosystem, building responsive and accessible user interfaces;
• Implement and maintain core services with business logic, serving REST/JSON APIs implemented with .NET;
• Design and implement the software architecture to support high availability and horizontal scalability;
• Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability;
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use, and extend the UI Toolkit with custom features and components whenever necessary;
• Advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance;
• Craft code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high‑scale web environment. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review.

This is what we believe is needed for this role

• Strong technical background with a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or similar relevant fields;
• Solid knowledge of C# and the .NET ecosystem;
• Hands‑on experience with web front‑end development, including HTML, CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript;
• Good knowledge of relational databases, particularly SQL Server;
• Knowledge of software design and architecture, including client‑side architecture and design patterns;
• Understanding of various coding methods and computer languages;
• Knowledge of software development life‑cycle processes;
• Reliability and great problem‑solving skills, with great attention to detail;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Fluency in English.

Bonus Points

• Experience building web UIs with .NET web frameworks (e.g., Blazor);
• Experience working with design systems and component libraries;
• Experience with cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines.

Location

• Remote / Hybrid / Coimbra
• This role can be performed Remotely in Portugal, or hybrid/office in Coimbra, Portugal.

Regardless of the arrangement, availability to attend in‑person meetings at our Coimbra office is expected when required. A minimum average of once every month should be expected.
