ITDS is hiring a senior Fullstack Engineer to build the aviation sector's first mobile app from the ground up. Fully remote within Portugal, you will join the Mobile App Team and work on the backend-heavy side of a React Native powered project with an aviation client.

The role emphasizes backend design, data modeling in PostgreSQL, Docker containerization, and cloud deployments (AWS preferred). Fluent English and strong communication are required.

Qualificações

Build the aviation sector's first mobile app from the ground up.

Fully remote within Portugal.

As a Fullstack Engineer, you will be working for our client in the aviation industry, joining the Mobile App Team that is building the company's first mobile application from scratch, with launch targeted in the coming months. This is a backend-heavy role for a senior engineer who is also comfortable with React Native.

Your main responsibilities:

• Design and build the backend powering the new mobile app, using Node.js, NestJS and TypeScript.
• Own backend architecture and system design - reliability, security and performance at scale.
• Work in React Native alongside the mobile team to deliver end-to-end features.
• Containerize with Docker and run cloud deployments (AWS preferred).
• Model and manage data in PostgreSQL.
• Take part in code reviews and technical discussions to keep quality high.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 5+ years of hands-on backend development experience.
• Strong command of TypeScript, Node.js and NestJS.
• Solid backend architecture and system-design experience.
• Docker and cloud deployment experience (AWS preferred).
• Fluent English and strong communication skills.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Cloud or software-architecture certifications.
• Experience working in an agile environment.
