Job summary

Hexa Consulting is seeking a senior Full Stack Developer to join one of our international projects in Lisbon. You will contribute to the development and continuous improvement of modern, scalable applications in a collaborative, dynamic environment.

You will build and maintain backend services with Java, Spring Boot and REST APIs, and craft frontend interfaces with React and Next.js. Strong English communication is required.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Experience with Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Experience with React and Next.js.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain back end applications using Java and Spring Boot, implementing scalable and maintainable business logic and integrating REST APIs with internal and external services.
• Develop and maintain front end applications using React and Next.js, building reusable components, integrating backend APIs, and ensuring responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Design, implement and maintain REST APIs and SQL-based data solutions, working with relational databases such as MS SQL Server and troubleshooting performance or data-related issues.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests, investigate and resolve bugs, optimize application performance, and contribute to overall code quality and technical improvements.
