Octo Health, based in Lisbon, is seeking a skilled software engineer focused on frontend or mobile. You’ll work on the web experience using React, TypeScript and Next.js, or on iOS/Android with React Native.

We operate AI-first, using Claude Code and other tools to accelerate delivery while maintaining craft and performance. You’ll collaborate daily with product, design and backend, ship high-quality surfaces, shape architecture for scale, and adapt in a fast, startup environment.

Qualificações

• 3+ years in software development with frontend or mobile focus.
• Experience shipping high-quality products used by people.
• AI coding tools are already part of your daily workflow.
• Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
• Solid understanding of UI/UX and what makes an interface feel effortless.

Responsabilidades

• Build and ship the web or mobile surface of Octo, blending speed and craft.
• Collaborate daily with product, design and backend.
• Use AI coding tools for generation, review, testing and refactoring - and keep raising the bar on how they’re used.
• Hold high standards for code quality, testing and performance, and know when to override AI output.
• Help shape the frontend or mobile architecture for scale.
• Step in where needed. We’re a startup. Adaptability is the job.
