Aubay Portugal is seeking a senior frontend engineer to build and evolve critical systems using React and TypeScript. You will translate design specs, maintain a shared component library, and integrate frontend with backend APIs.

Join a team that participates in architectural discussions, performs code reviews, and embraces AI tooling. The role offers hybrid work with two days in the Porto office, and a strong emphasis on collaboration and quality.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of professional experience building robust React/TypeScript applications.
• Experience with modern frontend architecture, including micro-frontends (e.g., single-spa).
• Proficiency in state management, routing, API integration, and performance optimization.
• Experience creating and maintaining reusable UI components and design systems.
• Familiarity with feature branching, PRs, and code reviews.
• Autonomy, critical thinking, and proactive mindset; familiarity with AI tooling like Claude Code.

What will you do?

• Develop new UI pages, flows, and reusable components using React and TypeScript.
• Translate Figma designs into polished frontend experiences, ensuring high quality and user satisfaction.
• Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of a shared component library built on styled-components.
• Integrate frontend features with backend APIs, manage state, and optimize application performance.
• Actively participate in architectural discussions and implement key changes, including Module Federation adoption.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, provide technical guidance, and ensure adherence to frontend best practices.
