A tech services company in Lisbon is seeking a Front-End Developer to build scalable web applications. The ideal candidate has strong system design knowledge, is fluent in English and Portuguese, and possesses mentoring skills. This full-time position offers a hybrid work model and is ideal for candidates with mid-senior level experience.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain scalable web applications.
• Design system architecture and write clean code.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Contribute in Agile ceremonies and split large tasks.
• Participate in on-call rotations.

Conhecimentos

Knowledge of system design, architecture, and design patterns

Experience with data structures and algorithms

Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases

Understanding of messaging queues and concurrency

Hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud providers

Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes

Ability to automate tasks using Shell scripts

Fluent in English and Portuguese

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Experience in Agile environments

The Planck Technologies team is looking for a Front-End Developer to help build scalable web applications with a focus on performance and reliability.

What will you do?

• Build and maintain scalable web applications with a focus on performance and reliability;
• Design system architecture, apply best practices, and write clean, efficient code;
• Mentor junior team members;
• Help define frontend architecture, split large tasks into smaller ones, and contribute in Agile ceremonies;
• Participate in on-call rotations and maintain a strong customer support mindset.

What are we looking for?

• Knowledge of system design, architecture, and design patterns;
• Experience with data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving;
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases;
• Understanding of messaging queues and concurrency;
• Hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud providers;
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes;
• Ability to automate tasks using Shell scripts or similar;
• Fluent in English and Portuguese (C1 level or above);
• Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills;
