Experis in Lisbon is seeking an experienced Global Freight Forwarding Manager to lead all freight-forwarding operations on a 3–6 month contract. You will ensure shipments are reliable, compliant and cost-effective while coordinating with logistics providers.

The role requires 5+ years in global freight forwarding or logistics, strong SAP/Excel/BI skills, and excellent stakeholder management. Pharma/biotech GDP experience is highly advantageous.

Qualificações

• Proven experience with transportation costs, budgets and carrier performance.
• Strong analytical skills and SAP/Excel/BI experience.

• Experience managing critical logistics issues and supply-chain disruptions.

Responsabilidades

• Overseeing global freight-forwarding operations across road, air and sea

Global Freight Forwarding Manager | 3–6 Month Contract | Lisbon

I’m currently looking for an experienced Global Freight Forwarding Manager for an immediate-start 3–6 month contract with a global pharmaceutical organisation.

The role:

You’ll take ownership of global freight-forwarding operations, ensuring shipments are reliable, compliant and cost-effective, while managing logistics service providers and resolving operational issues and risks.

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing global freight-forwarding operations across road, air and sea
• Managing logistics providers and performance against KPIs/SLAs
• Handling shipment deviations, critical issues, disruptions and rerouting
• Monitoring transportation spend against budget
• Identifying and delivering freight cost optimisation opportunities
• Supporting projects with freight-forwarding expertise
• Using SAP/Excel/BI data to analyse transportation performance and costs
