Mindrift is seeking a part-time AI Tutor - Kotlin to craft high-quality Kotlin-focused learning content for Kotlin developers. You will collaborate with engineers to ensure accurate code samples and tutorials, while exploring modern Kotlin frameworks to build practical examples.

This remote, freelance role in Lisbon, Portugal offers flexible hours and AI-assisted development tooling to enhance learning experiences and portfolio quality.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of Kotlin development (Android or server-side).
• Strong knowledge of JVM and Java interoperability.
• Experience with Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, MVVM/Clean Architecture.
• Proficiency with coroutines and flows; async programming.
• Familiarity with DI frameworks like Dagger/Hilt/Koin.
• Secure coding practices (OWASP).
• Experience building RESTful APIs, microservices, or distributed interfaces.
• Experience with Spring Framework and enterprise patterns.
• Knowledge of Kafka/RabbitMQ and SQL/NoSQL databases.

• Continuously refine content based on feedback, emerging patterns, and advances in the Kotlin ecosystem.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Software Development, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or other related fields.
• 3+ years of Kotlin development (Android or server‑side).
• Strong knowledge of JVM ecosystem and Java interoperability.
• Experience with Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, modern architecture (MVVM, Clean Architecture).
• Proficiency with coroutines, flows, async programming.
• Familiarity with DI frameworks (Dagger/Hilt/Koin).
• Secure coding practices (OWASP).
• Debugging and optimization skills.
• Ability to leverage AI‑assisted development tools.
• Experience building RESTful APIs, microservices, or distributed system interfaces.
• Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data).
• Experience with enterprise integration patterns and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Database experience with both SQL (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL solutions.
• Experience with enterprise security frameworks and OAuth2/JWT.
• Familiarity with event‑driven architectures and CQRS patterns.
• Level of English is advanced (C1) or above.
